Josep Maria Cobos
Josep Maria Cobos (Barcelona, 1956). És llicenciat en Història i té un màster en Història Econòmica per l’UAB, també ha fet els cursos de doctorat en Història Econòmica a l’UB. Tota la seva vida professional l’ha dedicada al món de la docència, on ha estat professor d’institut durant 35 anys. L’ensenyament ha estat la seva passió, però també la recerca, sobretot la referent a la història de l’àrea que podem anomenar el Llobregat montserratí. Ha publicat algunes obres centrades en aquest àmbit territorial, com ara Olesa al segle XIX (1994) o Pagesos, paraires i teixidors al Llobregat montserratí (2006), totes dues publicades per l’Abadia de Montserrat. També ha format part de diferents obres de recerca col·lectiva impulsades pel Centre d’Estudis Comarcals del Baix Llobregat, concretament: Col·lectivitzacions al Baix Llobregat (1936-1939) i El pas de la societat agrària a industrial al Baix Llobregat. A nivell associatiu, ha col·laborat amb algunes entitats locals i, més recentment, ha participat activament en la formació de l’Associació per a la defensa de la Colònia Sedó i el seu entorn.
